In 2019, Colourful Goodies entered into a unique collaboration with the brand Patta. This partnership elevated us to a new level with the launch of a special PATTA doll and a joint journey to New York.
What began as a shared mission for representation and inclusivity, grew into an international story. Together with a few other black-owned businesses, we travelled to Manhattan, where the doll was presented in Patta's pop-up store in New York.
This collaboration goes beyond fashion. It's cultural heritage in motion.
The doll in Manhattan
The store in Manhattan wasn't just a place to display the doll, but also a platform to share our message: black identity, entrepreneurship, and cultural pride belong worldwide. For Colourful Goodies, this was a milestone – from Amsterdam Noord to the heart of New York.
The doll, wearing her Patta outfit made from fabric offcuts and sporty Vans trainers, drew much attention and was received as a powerful symbol of inclusion.
More than a product
This collaboration is more than a product - it's a movement that transcends boundaries. It demonstrates that Dutch companies can work together to create real change and representation on a global scale.
